Scores represent browsers that completed the test. Tested on production 1.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5–based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and pre-release macOS Big Sur, and Windows 10 Home, version 2004, running in Boot Camp.

Pre-release Safari 14.0.1 tested with HD 1080p content Chrome v.75 and Firefox v81.0.1 tested with HD 720p content. Systems tested with WPA2 Wi‑Fi network connection while running on battery power, with display brightness set to 12 clicks from bottom or 75%.

Tested with pre-release Safari 14 and latest stable versions of Chrome, Firefox and (Windows) Microsoft Edge at the time of testing, on Intel Core i5-based 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with pre-release macOS Big Sur and Windows 10 Home running in Boot Camp iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) units with pre-release iPadOS 14 and Intel Core i7–based Microsoft Surface Pro 7 systems with Windows 10 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max with pre-release iOS 14 and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with Android 10. Testing conducted by Apple in August and October 2020 using JetStream 2, MotionMark 1.1 and Speedometer 2.0 performance benchmarks on browsers that completed the test.
